Watch A Together in Song Special!
WGBY-TV,Public Television for western New England, congratulates the winner of the 2014 Together in Song Regional Choral Awards, the Amherst Regional High School Chorale, who were finalists in the High School category and received top honors during out live broadcast in April 2014. As winners, the group will be featured in their own half-hour special, We Sang to the Top, on Wednesday, October 6th at 9pm on WGBY.
Call for Entries:
WGBY is excited to announce the 2015 season of the Emmy Nominated Together in Song. This will be the 5th season of one of WGBY’s most ambitious locally produced, televised series, involving over 1,000 amateur performers of all ages. Regional choral groups are invited to submit performance clips to enter into the series. Once chosen, participants will come to WGBY’s studios in Springfield to tape their show segment and WGBY will also visit many of the groups to film on location. We’re pleased to once again welcome Kevin Rhodes, Music Director of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra as host. The 2015 series will be broadcast in March & April 2015. Each program is also made available for viewing worldwide online. Viewers and judges vote for their favorite groups throughout the season. The top performers will appear LIVE during the Together in Song Regional Choral Awards on April 26, 2015 and once again, the top vote getter will receive their own half-hour special on WGBY.
