Together in Song wrapped up its third season on Sunday, April 28, 2013 with a live showcase broadcast from Springfield’s historic Paramount Theater and hosted by Kevin Rhodes of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. Over six weeks leading up to the Showcase, judges and viewers selected the top 9 ensembles out of 36 who participated this year. Those 9 groups got to perform on stage with a studio audience plus viewers at home who tuned in for the event.

WGBY invited fans to submit a vote via text or phone in support of their favorite choirs. After more than 1,1000 votes were tallied, Amherst Regional High School Chorale was announced as the 2013 audience favorite.

Because of our supporters, WGBY was able to bring the talents of 336 local singers into the homes of our viewers that night. Consider making a gift to Together in Song. We’ll send you a DVD of the Season 3 Live Showcase as a thank you gift!

Congratulations to everyone who took part in this year’s series. Thank you to our friends at MassMutual, Rick’s Auto Body, New England Farm Workers Council, the Republican and MassLive for their gracious support. Without them, producing Together in Song would not be possible.

We look forward to season 4!
