Holyoke, MA
Director: Daniel Rose

“Shoshone Love Song” by Roger Emerson

EN White School Grade 7 & 8 Chorus formed in 2012, and since then has doubled in size. At the time of its inception, it was the only middle school chorus in Holyoke; today, though one of three, it is still the only one that meets during the school day. Our students have successfully auditioned in the Junior Western District festival, and perform for several events in Holyoke, such as the Barnes and Noble Book Fair, Puerto Rican Heritage Festival, and Holiday Tree Lighting.

About the Director<br /> Daniel Rose is a music teacher in Holyoke Public Schools. He established the EN White School Chorus in 2012, and also co-directs the Sullivan School Singers and Holyoke All-City Chorus. He is the accompanist for Holyoke High School’s choral ensembles, and has been an assistant musical director and rehearsal accompanist for the high schools’ productions of “Legally Blonde,” “9 to 5,” “Cinderella,” and the upcoming production of “The Wizard of Oz.” Daniel has a private piano studio based out of Enfield, CT, and also privately accompanies numerous instrumentalists and performing ensembles outside of school. He leads worship at River Valley Fellowship Church in East Windsor, CT. He is in the final stages of his Masters in Music Education at Kent State University.
