About Director Janet St. Jean
Watch a video clip from this ensemble’s director.Janet St. Jean received a BA degree from Dartmouth College and a MM degree in vocal accompaniment from the New England Conservatory of Music. She has taught music in the Needham,Amherst, and Westfield public schools. She has been an adjunct professor at Westfield State University. She is the co-founder and musical director of Young Singers of Greater Westfield, an auditioned chorus of 45 singers. She has accompanied the Greater Westfield Choral Association, the Hampshire Choral Association, and is in great demand as an accompanist throughout the region.
