About Director James Boratko
Watch a video clip from this ensemble’s director.James Boratko is our Club’s new Music Director beginning this season -S 2012. Jim is a highly capable musician, composer, and choral director with over thirty years’ experience. Thus our musical offerings are as varied as possible, exploring the entire gamut of choral music, from music of the Renaissance through the present day, from traditional to experimental. Instrumental accompaniment includes our Austin pipe organ, harpsichord, grand piano and a variety of string and brass instrumentalists. We even have regular appearances by our barbershop quartet! Jim also is the Music Director for The First Church of Christ Congregational in West Hartford.
