Eclectic, non-classical
High Definition, a vocal ensemble of the Northampton Community Music Center, sings music from all genres and time periods. Their current set list includes French madrigals, contemporary classical music, Beatles tunes, folk, and jazz, as well as an arrangement of Sara Bareilles hit song, “Brave”. The group performs at NCMC-produced choral events and at other venues in the area, including Northampton’s First Night, fundraisers for local non-profit organizations and causes, Season 1 of WGBY’s “Together in Song”, and the Porter-Phelps-Huntington “Perfect Spot of Tea” series.
